Auxesis

Brighton band Auxesis have been building an exciting post-hardcore grungy punk buzz on the underground scene since they starting performing last year. The band began in 2015 when singer/songwriter Mel Sanson started writing songs with lead guitarist Jack Rowan. Fuelled by a mutual interest in heavy distortion, hard riffs & beautiful delicate melodies, the two began recording original material & self recorded a 4 track demo. Alec Greaves joined the band on drums and the 3 piece went into the studio with Mark Roberts (Broker, Black Peaks) and recorded their debut EP, Swallow The Sun. The line up was completed when Danny Knowles joined the group on Bass. Having performed in previous musical projects together, the new band were quick to get their live set ready to take the local scene by storm, as if they have been together for years.
