New Luna

A staple band of Manchester’s underground alternative scene, New Luna continue to establish themselves as an act pushing dream-pop and post-indie music in a forward direction. Drawing comparisons to Radiohead, Lift To Experience and The Chameleons, the band introduced themselves with the “brilliantly forward-thinking noisy rock” (Piccadilly Records) of 2016’s self-titled debut EP, while a string of subsequent singles have consistently reached the top 3 on Hypemachine's Worldwide Blog Chart and gained the band support from Clash, Dork, BBC Introducing and Spotify's own playlisters.

Alongside supports with Happyness, Kagoule, Her’s and October Drift, the band have performed at a DIY Magazine showcase and featured on bills at YNOT?, ArcTanGent, Truck and Threshold festivals. Tipped by Paste Magazine as one of the 15 Manchester Bands You Need To Know In 2019, the year saw New Luna working heavily in the studio while appearing at The Great Escape, Dot To Dot and FOCUS Wales festivals and performing a sell out end-of-year show at Manchester's YES Basement.
