B i o : Y K O N S a passé 3 ans à travailler sur son premier album. Les 5 musiciens, originaires des hauteurs de Liège, ont voulu s’élever aussi bien dans la pureté des compositions que dans la qualité qu'offrent les méthodes d’enregistrements et de créations actuelles. Y K O N S spent 3 years working on its first album. The 5 musicians, originating from the heights of Liège, wanted to elevate themselves not only in the purity of their compositions but also in the quality attainable with the latest recording and creation technologies. ​A V A N T d'entamer une première maquette, les ébauches de chansons ont sans cesse été modifiées et remodelées passant d’une tête à une autre, d’un instrument à un autre, d’un disque dur à un autre. B E F O R E starting on the first mock-up, song drafts have been constantly modified and reshaped, going from one person to another, from one instrument to another and from one digital media to another. Y K O N S a évolué à l'instar d’une démocratie. Tous les membres du groupe ont contribué à l'oeuvre globale. A la fois auteur, compositeur, producteur et directeur artistique, le collectif est resté libre de ses choix et de ses collaborations. L’appui de Charles De Schutter du REC & ROLL Studio BXL (M, Ghinzu, Ozark Henry, Talisco,...), qui a enregistré et mixé l’album dans sa version finale, a assurément tiré le projet vers les sommets. Y K O N S evolved in a democratic process. All band members contributed to the overall work, making author, composer, artistic and collaboration choices collectively and freely. The project reached new heights with Charles De Schutter from REC & ROLL Studio BXL (M, Ghinzu, Ozark Henry, Talisco, ...) recording and mixing the album’s final cut.
