KiSMiT blends their inspirations of Vulfpeck funk, Allen Stone soul, Fleetwood Mac harmonies and Kimbra futurism into a sonic ball of vitality.

KiSMiT struck as a wanderer from Cape Town and an exuberant Californian crossed paths at Berklee College of Music in a songwriting class late 2013. It was wanderlust to strike next as KiSMiT (then ‘Carly & the King’) performed and cruised for two years through Northern Europe, The British Isles and the Caribbean. Anchor is now set in Silver Lake, California where this indie-pop band can be seen performing around Los Angeles at venues such as Hotel Cafe, SoFar Sounds LA and the Viper Room.
