About Tree House Fire
TREE HOUSE FIRE
“Look out for Tree House Fire!” - David Rodigan (BBC Radio 1Xtra)
“One of the best live acts in the UK scene” - COLIN’S PUNK ROCK WORLD
“Their ability to capture the mood of their times, blending social commentary with a hopeful vibrancy is a hallmark of their sound.” - RECENTMUSIC.COM
------------------------------------------
Tree House Fire is a dynamic five-piece band, emerging from the serene suburbs of Surrey and the picturesque hills of South Wales. Their sound, deeply rooted in reggae and punk and enriched with elements of hip-hop, ska, and rock, delivers energetic grooves, insightful lyrics, and catchy melodies that get the crowd moving.
The band has been electrifying venues and festivals across the UK and Europe, sharing stages with top acts such as Reel Big Fish, Mad Caddies, Anti-Flag, The Skints, Katchafire, Macka B, The Beat, Dub Pistols, and New York ska legends The Toasters. Their shows are a burst of rhythm and energy, earning them a reputation as a must-see act on the live music scene.
From their debut album ‘Rocket’ (2012) to the chart-topping ‘Actions Reactions’ (2014), Tree House Fire has consistently produced feel-good anthems with meaningful messages. Their ‘Coming In Hot’ EP (2016) showcased a more melodic, acoustic-driven side, while ‘Fools Gold’ (2018) turned up the heat, featuring collaborations with Curtis Lynch (Gorillaz/Necessary Mayhem), Angus Campbell (UB40/Lily Allen) and Winston Rollins (ASWAD/Jools Holland Orchestra), producing a polished sound perfect for both radio airwaves and reggae purists alike.
During the 2020 lockdown, Tree House Fire took on the ambitious project of remotely creating and releasing a new track every week for 14 weeks. Each track, accompanied by its own music video, explored different musical styles. These tracks were later compiled into the album ‘Isolation Jams’ (2020), which delves into themes of isolation and resilience, highlighting the band’s versatility across genres.
With brand new music set to be released in 2025, Tree House Fire remains a beacon of positivity and unity within the UK's vibrant music landscape.
