The Superflirts

The Superflirts saw their humble beginnings back in the summer of 2004 in the streets of Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines. Arming themselves with the heavy passion for music and the general love for ska, the band pays great homage to the early sound of Jamaica, the British two tone movement, and the sultry beats of New Orleans jazz. In the underground circuit, The Superflirts were first introduced under the banner of Corridor Music Group. It was through these underground events that the band made a name for itself which was warmly appreciated by the audience. It was no stopping The Superflirts as they toured ruthlessly the roads of Mindanao in DIY fashion. They managed to land in magazines, given TV and radio exposures, and even headlined major events with other mainstream bands from Manila and Cebu. Tempered with a smooth and simple beat yet catchy, it is not really hard to love the music of The Superflirts. Their original songs are always a favorite during their live sets which causes the crowd to non-stop dancing. They never force their music to be loved by the many, but makes the true fans appreciate it even better. Cagayan de Oro's Favorite Ska Band!
