Video Game Orchestra is a Boston-based project that performs its own "rockestral" arrangements of popular video game music with a rock band, singers and orchestra.
Founded in 2008 by the Okinawan-native Shota Nakama, Video Game Orchestra quickly earned the popularity for its unique performance style featuring a high energy rock band and epic orchestra.
VGO has been featured at numerous large events such as PAX East, Brazil Game Show, ChinaJoy, San Diego Comicon, Thailand Game Show, and many others and has become one of the few international video game music acts.
While not on tour, VGO is actively involved with creating soundtracks for video games. VGO's credit can be found on highly-acclaimed AAA titles such as Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts as well as indie smash hits Mages of Mystralia, Re:Legend and No Straight Roads.
