About Raven Cain

Raven Cain is a man who's life reads like a Chuck Palahniuk novel. Raised in an ultra religious cult, with his mother, A father who was an absent musician and a stepfather who abused, poisoned, and almost killed him. To say His life was traumatic is an understatement. His family fought hopeless poverty and substandard living conditions his whole childhood. Despite overwhelming odds Raven managed to devote his life to his two passions, Music and Martial Arts. Out of desperation Raven fought tooth and nail to get out of the harsh conditions eventually hitting the road with his Rock band.
Despite his trials and tribulations he has had tremendous success. In the 1990's he was singed to Dreamscape Records out of New York City and became a huge regional smash selling out venues around the East Coast. Raven's well known reputation for a wild stage presence and thought provoking lyrics earned him the title of the 90's Iggy Pop by Flash Magazine.
Raven retired from public life in 1999 to open a chain of martial arts schools, Raven has been studying the martial arts since he was 5 years old, and is currently a 6th Degree Black Belt. In 1999 Raven began to do active work with the Guardian Angels. As a Guardian Angel Raven walked into the middle of a gang war in Washington DC unarmed with a group of students and temporarily stopped the violence. Those who know him personally will tell you that it is typical for Raven to do the most outrageous things. If You Want A Bad Boy, you found one. You found one with heart and a passion.
In 20013 Raven moved to Utah were he began to reconnect with his music again. He made such a splash on the west coast that within 2 years Raven had inked a deal with 405 Hollywood / Atlantic Records. Once again Raven found success as a regional hit. His album Son of the South has gained him notoriety as a powerful vocalist and an insightful songwriter.
Raven is a true artist and front man who's dynamic stage performance leaves the crowd wanting more. Off stage Raven keeps people intrigued with his ongoing artistic en-devours, including co founded the martial art KaJuKiBo, becoming an Ordained Buddhist Priest and currently working on a new Southern Rock/ Biker Rock album with his friend and lead guitar player Tommy Harrison. The album is titled "OBLIVIOUS" and is set to be released in the fall of 2016.
Considering he is a direct blood decedent of the worlds most notorious and infamous Pirate, Black Beard, it would seem he is merely keeping the family tradition of a chaotic and exciting life alive.
