Echo Texture

Echo Texture are a Seattle-based group, formed in July 2014 by Jalal Andre, who began performing a mix of post-punk, soul-gazer compositions, inspired by the sounds of early goth and surf-rock bands. Pulling Stuart Taylor's melodic riffage on bass and Julian Ledgerwood’s aggressive, bohemian jungle rock rhythms, the resulting crunchy, over-driven, organic sound was reminiscent of the sonic equivalent of the color burnt sienna. After a year of experimenting, the trio settled on a contemporary sound with notable connections to prior genres of music.


Following the release of their first EP, Falling Ceiling, and two full-length albums, Inter-Sting and Timetwisted, Echo Texture is looking to tour the West Coast in the coming year and expand their following… Dive in!
