About The Renegade Groove
The Renegade Groove is a four-piece funk-rock band from Burlington, Vermont. Members Collin Craig (PURPLE feat. Craig Mitchell, The Collin Craig Continuum), Evan Crandell (The Too Hot To Handle, Saturn People’s Sound Collective), Andy Gagnon (PURPLE feat. Craig Mitchell, The Vermont Jazz Ensemble), and Danny Whitney (smalltalker, JUPTR) combine their passion for funk, rock, blues, jazz, and soul in their compositions, creating a sound has been described as “an actual party” (The Seven Days).
May 2018 saw the release of their debut album, which features ten original tunes and was recorded and produced by Alan Evans (Soulive, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe) at Iron Wax Studio.
