Antony Payne

Antony Payne is a South Florida-based artist who writes, performs and produces all of his own material. Antony was born in Salem, Massachusetts, but after his father was deported to England he moved to the outskirts of Boston. He was raised there by his single mother. After he graduated from high school, Payne attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, but his drinking and drug use quickly became a serious problem and he was forced to drop out. Following a series of stays in rehabs and psych wards, Antony Payne moved to South Florida where he began his recovery. As he set out to pursue music seriously, Payne played in a number of bands as the lead singer, guitarist, and primary songwriter, but decided to seek out a career as a solo artist. He began working on the songs that would eventually become Cherish, his self-released debut EP. Since the release of Cherish, Antony has been working hard writing and recording songs for his full-length album "Glory", performing at venues from Miami to West Palm Beach, and developing a following of devoted fans from all over the world.
