The first in a run of 9 gigs in 10 days was a trip to Pound Arts to watch the sensational Ellie Gowers with her exceptionally beautiful new guitar in natural wood grain sycamore, which both sounds and looks stunning. Ellie has one of those voices that I could listen to for hours, and you could hear a pin drop as she enthralled the audience. Ellie sang 3 excellent very new songs, a selection from her back catalogue and a sensational cover of Joni Mitchell’s ‘California’ - utter bliss. If you get the chance, please go and see her - you won’t regret it!

Ellie Gowers was phenomenal live, he voice takes you away into her music it’s just beautiful. We will be on the look out to see her again! Venue was average - could have been more seating available. Sound was very good.
