Art of Decay

Art of Decay traces it's origins back to 2013 when founding members David D'Auria and Eric Quiros met over their passion for music and began crafting songs together. Over the next two years they had collaborated on an extensive amount of songs and rough demos that showed promise and set out to complete a full band. Using an instrumental demo to showcase their musical prowess to attract potential singers, they sifted through countless inquires and held numerous auditions to find the voice of their at the time nameless project. Enter Olga Plekhanova. She was focused, prepared, and blew David and Eric away with her charismatic charm and vocal ability. After finding Olga, the group set about to write the lyrics and melodies that would create the frame for what was to come. Cameron Williams was brought in to audition for bass after many bass players didn't work, and his background in drumline, insane learning ability and overall understanding of music theory made him a time machine, able to lock in with drummer David D'Auria to round out the band. Their advanced, innovative sound was causing a buzz among the local rock scene and attracted the help of producer Wade Fitzgerald and engineer Kyle Griffin, and the band set out to produce their first EP "The Rise" at Artisans Label Studios in the spring of 2015. The EP was finished at Capitol Records and has been receiving rave reviews since it's release on 5/28/15.
