The concert was great, all the artists had killer sets, and I got to see my favorite Jordan Davis' songs live. He was great during the little meet and greet. Acoustics were good. However, the venue left a lot to be desired. It's not really ADA friendly, and I wish the GSA website had been honest about the clear bag policy (it stated on the website that clutches were allowed--and I had to argue with an attendant for nearly ten minutes (while she allowed another guest with a similar sized purse to pass with NO issue) before she allowed me to go check it) and about the bar for the VIP tickets being cashless instead of a cash bar as advertised and mentioned in our "prepare for the concert" email. I would've skipped going to the bank on the way. I won't be back there unless A) it really is a rare live show and B) I get a nosebleed seat so I don't have to hike all the way and down with rickety railings. On the plus side, most of the staff and the bartenders were friendly and polite. Still, I did have fun during the actual concert and happy I got to see one of my favorite music artist perform. Davis puts on a hell of a show, and the opening acts I got to see did great job, too. I'd love to see Davis in concert again, provided it's a different venue.

Second time at the fair (drove about four hours). Great venue--we prefer the grandstand second tier as you don't have to stand then! (we are old!). Third time seeing Jordan Davis and he always puts on a great show and appreciates the fans. We also like this venue because there is no alcohol.

I've never been that close to an artist. Especially his eyes meeting mine while he was singing. What a great memory to make with my daughter. Although the concert was shorter then what I'm used too. I would definitely see a concert there again. He was great and so was the band.

About Jordan Davis

Jordan Davis is a multi-platinum, award-winning artist who has continuously pushed the
boundaries of country music with his deeply personal songwriting and genre-blending approach.
With his highly anticipated new album, Learn the Hard Way, Jordan further refines his craft,
exploring new territory while maintaining the authenticity that has made him one of country
music's newest superstars.
For Jordan, Learn the Hard Way represents a journey of self-discovery and artistic evolution.
After the success of his two Platinum-certified albums, Home State and Bluebird Days, Jordan
faced the challenge of finding fresh creative inspiration without rehashing what he'd already
done. This album marks a shift—one that finds Jordan embracing a more organic sound while
still honoring his roots in southern rock, blues, and classic country. Fans will still hear Jordan’s
signature style, but Learn The Hard Way brings in fresh sounds that showcase his growth,
blending his roots with exciting new elements.
The writing of “Good Gone Bad” was a pivotal moment in Jordan’s creative process. A track that
features bluesy slide guitar and a deep groove, it was born out of the frustration of trying to write
another “hit” and finding himself stuck in the past. “When I wrote ‘Good Gone Bad,’ I knew I was
going in a new direction,” he explains. “It was the first time in a while that I didn’t feel the
pressure to write what people expected. I wrote this song the way I wanted to play it, not
thinking about what would come next.”
This fresh creative outlook continued throughout the album. On “Louisiana Stick,” Jordan teams
up with Grammy-nominated guitarist Marcus King for a collaboration that reflects his Louisiana
roots. “Growing up in Louisiana, blues and soul music really get into your blood,” Jordan shares.
“I’ve always loved Marcus’ music, and when I had the idea for ‘Louisiana Stick,’ I wanted it to
have that kind of feel. We just turned on every mic in the studio and let Marcus play guitar. It
was a blast.” The result is a fiery, southern-fried anthem that celebrates the music that shaped
Jordan’s early years.
Jordan continues to lean into personal experiences in tracks like “Mess With Missing You”, a
poignant exploration of heartache and moving on. As a husband and father, Jordan brings a
sense of grounded reality to his songs, blending vulnerability with storytelling. Similarly, "In Case
You Missed It" offers a glimpse into the small-town life Jordan left behind, reflecting the changes
and challenges of growing up, while maintaining the familiarity and charm of his roots.
One of the standout moments on Learn the Hard Way is “I Ain’t Sayin’”, a song that reached No.
1 on US country radio, further cementing Jordan’s standing as one of country’s most consistent
hitmakers. With eight career No. 1s and two platinum albums to his name, Jordan’s growth as
an artist is undeniable. This album finds him experimenting with sound, moving away from
programmed production in favor of a more stripped-back, live-in-the-studio approach. The result
is a collection of songs that feel fresh, raw, and real, capturing the energy of Jordan’s live performances and delivering it directly to listeners.
“Tom Petty’s music always had a driving, four-on-the-floor feel,” Jordan says, pointing to one of
his influences as the inspiration behind “Turn This Truck Around.” The song is a reflection of his
southern roots, infused with a sense of urgency and determination. “I wanted to show my
southern-rock side,” he adds. “I wanted to give the fans something they hadn’t heard from me
before.”
Collaborating with some of the most respected songwriters in the industry, such as Ashley
Gorley, Hillary Lindsey, and Luke Dick, Jordan continues to prove that his creative well is far
from running dry. His songwriting on Learn the Hard Way is sharp, reflecting a newfound
wisdom and the lessons learned from his journey so far. The songs on this album are not just
tracks—they’re anthems, set closers, and soon-to-be crowd favorites that will resonate deeply
with his fans.
Learn the Hard Way is a celebration of Jordan’s evolution as an artist. It’s an album that blends
traditional country with modern sensibilities, showcasing a voice that is both timeless and
forward-thinking. Whether he’s exploring personal experiences or diving into new creative
collaborations, Jordan remains one of the most innovative voices in country music today. If this
is the hard way, then Jordan Davis makes it look easy
