Absolutely fantastic !! Jon has such wonderful talent and energy ( physical & spiritual). I was fortunate to be standing in the front row and was so struck by his authenticity. I am so inspired and admiring of his music, variety and depth. I plan to see him in Carnigie Hall if he is there again. He has a message and a mission. He is LOVE and truly a master of his craft ! Thank you for blessing us at the festival, only an hour, but the best one there !!!!!

This is how you make two hours feel like 20 minutes. Jon is somehow able to warp time to fly by at twice its speed. One man, alone, with the audience enraptured by his talent.

About Jon Batiste
Jon Batiste comes from a long line of New Orleans musicians and performers. He is musically trained and an esteemed graduate of The Juilliard School. A recording artist, bandleader of Stay Human, and musical director of the Late Show with Stephen Colbert since 2015, Jon has numerous releases including Chronology of a Dream and Anatomy of Angels: Live at the Village Vanguard (2019) and Hollywood Africans (2018). Jon composed the score for “Soul” by Disney/Pixar. He was featured in Coach’s Fall 2020 Campaign alongside Michael B. Jordan and Jennifer Lopez, and also starred in Lincoln’s recent ad campaign for Corsair: Chart Your Course. Jon’s latest record “WE ARE.” was released in March 2021.
