Danny Kotz

Danny Kotz (also used to be known as Dekay) left his home town of Jerusalem and his break dance career to explore the unknown dark territories of Berlin's electronic music scene. His first major breakthrough was in 2010 with ‘Farewell To Planet Earth' EP on Dirt Crew Recordings, including remixes by Mano Le Tough and Nick Chacona. His newest release 'Reject' EP on Made of CONCRETE features his darker alias and is an incursion into the deep end of spacious techno. On the performance side his analogue Live acts are deep, dark, funky, and alien, with emphasis on rhythm atmosphere and quirkiness. In his DJ sets, just like in his break dance glory days Kotz uses his acrobatic skills to DJ in a peculiar eclectic and flexible style running between genres of techno, electro and indie dance music.
