Axe & the Ivory

Indie-folk band, Axe & the Ivory, is comprised of a bunch of best mates who grew up playing music together. Described as a songwriting force, they’ve played major Australian festivals including Woodford Folk Festival, Cygnet Folk Festival, Wingham Music Festival and Space Jams, and were recently named by inDaily as one of the top South Australian bands to watch. For fans of the Barr Brothers, Anais Mitchell and the Paper Kites, they will instantly capture your attention with two lead vocalists, enchanting harmonies and intricate guitar and banjo melodies. They were finalists in the Festival of Original Music (South Australian) and the Listen Up Music Songwriting Prize (Australia-wide) and three time semi-finalists in the Nashville based Unsigned Only songwriting competition (international).
