About The Bionic Rats

Ska/Reggae influenced band. Formed in Dublin, Ireland in 2006.Self released four studio & one 'Live' albums to date. We started Dublin's longest running ska night shortly after forming, the legendary Sunday Skank in The Foggy Dew, Temple Bar, Dublin, Ireland, every Sunday from 20:00 (up until covid). Over the years we have opened up for Madness, The English Beat, Ranking Rogers The Beat, Bad Manners, The Selecter, Horace Andy, Lee 'Scratch' Perry, Imelda May, The Jolly Boys, Damian Dempsey when these acts hit Ireland. We were the first Irish band to play long running London International Ska Festival among other festivals (too many to mention). Appeared on Irish TV on state broadcasters RTE's The Imelda May Show in 2017.
