About Daniel Eyes & The Vibes
Daniel Eyes is an Austin, TX based American Singer, Songwriter, and Performer. He gained quick local recognition with his band Daniel Eyes & the Vibes after releasing their debut EP, Sweet Dreaming, in January 2016. Riding hype from live shows, they stormed through Austin leading The Austin Chronicle to hail them as having "swagger bigger than the stage, unloading slacker punk energy with tunes that bounce between Eighties Dire Straits and Police, and the rawer garage guitar of Kurt Vile." During SXSW 2016 the band was also voted #2 Best New Austin Band and #3 Best Performing Rock Band in the Austin Chronicle Music Awards. After receiving a grant from Black Fret, the frontman started working in the studio on a solo effort with producer Lonely Child. This past May, Eyes was diagnosed with Vocal Polyps after having trouble in the studio recording vocals.
