Heather Woods

Heather Woods is a singer songwriter based in the Boston area. A passionate writer and performer, she blends catchy folk with pure and heartfelt vocals to deliver a listening experience that is raw, soulful, and powerfully feminine. Heather performs independently and as a member of Proper Company. Her original song, 'Never Gonna Be The Same' was recently featured in Heartbeat: A Modern Dance Rock Show, co-produced by George Woods and Jennifer Crowell-Kuhnberg (of OnStage Dance Company) and performed at The Oberon. Heather's first solo EP is scheduled to release May 2015. Heather is also a Board-Certified Music Therapist. She utilizes a mindfulness based approach, and credits her passion for artistry and use of music as a meditative practice for informing and deepening her work as a music therapist.
