About Proudest Angel
Formed in July of 1999, Proudest Angel quickly established themselves in the Chicago music scene with their own brand of heavy metal with callbacks to Iced Earth and Sentenced. The band went their separate ways in 2003 only to finally reform in 2015 with a new purpose and a renewed sense of life, now incorporating rock elements in the vein of Bobaflex, Godsmack, The Offspring, and HIM. The current lineup features original members William Paimon (Sutured Psyche), John Raftree, and David Bates (Sinister Fate), along with long time friend Ryan Reilly (Sutured Psyche).
