Havenlost is officially born in 2010 in Bologna, sharing a common passion for Metal, Progressive and melodic music. In 2013, despite coming from a full year of hiatus, we finally managed to record our first EP titled "Haven, Lost.", released in November 2013. Between 2014 and 2015 the line-up changed meaningfully for the first time in 4 years. in early 2014 we separated from our female singer Gaia Dondi and our bass player Lorenzo Sirani. One year later Francesco Vellone (violins) and Filippo Calanca (vocals) parted ways. Lorenzo lately came back as Bass player. In 2015 we dedicated ourselves to the composition of our first full lenght concept album, The Passage, determined to change the way we used to see our music. Most of our songs are composed by Michele Montini (Guitarist and vocalist) and later rearranged by the entire band. Our sound is currently evolving, gradually moving away from its Symphonic / Folk origins (as in the EP "Haven, lost"), and eventually trying to incorporate more influences coming from genres like Melodic Death Metal and Progressive Metal. We, as musicians, are constantly inspired by many artists, but at the time of writing our main reference artists are: Insomnium, Soilwork, In Flames, Destrage and Ayreon Havenlost has shared the stage with: Mourn in Silence, Eva Can't, In Tormentata Quiete, Ex Cinere Resurgo, Disease Illusion, Criminal Side, Pursuing the End, Noise Pollution, Bicoloured Men, Simple Lies, Reasons Behind, Rebirth of Enora, Eisen, Atomic Blast, Aspasia, Despite Exile, Slow Order, Eternity Stands Still, Nemoralis, Last Embrace, Sephirot, Horror Vacui, Rhyzome, Keimada, Light Fever, Leather Jacket, Stardust, Lortdal, Terminal Sick, Too Late, Betrayed, RTC, Fourth Back Side, Terminus, The End At The Beginning, Hannya & many others Prog-Melodeath Metal from Italy.
