The show was wonderful last night! The music was soothing, the girls beautiful and their voices heavenly. The space was intimate so we were close enough to feel the all the subtle nuances of the music!! I'd love to see them perform there again!!

About Bianca Muniz

"Bianca's voice, paired with her powerful original music, evokes the deepest and most sensitive emotions from her band members as well as audience; it's a truly spiritual experience."
Bianca Muñiz is a 22 year old singer, songwriter, pianist, and a recent graduate of the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music; living in Manhattan, New York, who has taken flight on the New York Music scene. She creates original music existing independent of genre and ranging from the most sensitive indie ballad, to textural r&b, to creepy rock, all seamlessly infused with a masterful use of lyricism and poetry.
Bianca is a New York native from Westchester who already has a daunting arsenal of life experience from which she draws inspiration to create powerful music. She is an individual with a drive to do good and spread love throughout the world through music.
In the summer of 2016, Bianca released her first EP, Scary Dreams, which can be found on iTunes, Spotify and Tidal, and successfully booked her own East Coast Tour. Now, She is getting ready to release her newest single and music video, For You. Although she is currently fighting cancer for the second time, she hasn't let that slow her down. Instead, she is using it to inspire and motivate herself and others.
Bianca was diagnosed with ovarian cancer at the age of 11. Rather than losing hope, Bianca turned to music to get her through these rough times. Now that she is 22 and has been diagnosed with breast cancer, she is leaning on music once again. She has continued creating and expressing herself through her songwriting. These life experiences have changed her physically and mentally. Bianca's emotional and mental fortitude, as a result of this experience, has opened a creative vista of life. Her motto: "Well if I'm alive, then I'm fine;" is still her credo today. The flip side is: "I can do anything I want to do." Bianca has set out to do exactly that.
Her experience with cancer has inspired a vision to create a non-profit organization, helping kids with cancer deal with sickness through music. Music was amazingly therapeutic while she was in the hospital and she wants to share that healing with others. She also wants to incorporate helping kids/teens with depression in memory of her best friend and fellow musician Miles Applebaum, who suffered from depression.
Bianca is actively performing in NYC. Some of the venues she's performed at are Rockwood Music Hall, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Bowery Electric, Pianos, Webster Hall Studio, 12 Grapes and many more. She has also sung the National Anthem at Madison Square Garden for the Knicks and Rangers. She graduated in May 2016, and will continue her lifelong journey of music and travel.
