Formed in Fall of 2014, Painted Life has grown from the minds of five Connecticut-based musicians. Hoping to blend elements from across the musical spectrum, the quintet set out in late fall to record their debut, self-titled EP with Nick Scott at Metro 37 studios in Michigan (Crown The Empire, BlesstheFal, I See Stars). Here is where the group shaped the sound that would define their EP. Both frantically chaotic and hauntingly beautiful, Painted Life hopes to captivate audiences and fully encompass every element of what it means to create heavy music: an adrenaline filled presence that listeners can feel from start to finish in each and every composition. With the summer 2015 release of the Painted Life EP, Painted Life now focuses on gripping audiences with their live performances across the northeast. “We just want people to come out and go crazy with us. Painted Life is a release for all of our energy, and we want listeners to feel that,” says Travis Caouette, lead vocalist.
