It’s all about the groove. chraevis started playing drums at age nine, and his early classical training as a percussionist led him to perform in jazz bands, rock bands, post-hardcore bands, marching bands, wind symphonies, during professional sports events, and so much more. These experiences blended into a penchant for polyrhythmic flavor, hypnotic rhythms, and deliberately pushing boundaries.



Fast forward to late 2019, when chraevis decided the best vehicle for his creative pursuits would be his very own record label. Specializing in house, funk, disco, and techno, chraevis's mission behind founding Shake Well Records is to discover unusually danceable left-of-center sounds and to share them with the world.



chraevis has a long history in the music industry beyond performance, production, and his label. Over the past decade, he built technology products at the world’s largest concert discovery platform and the leading indie music distributor. He also writes for dance music publications like DJ Times and ClubWorld.
