The Periwinkle Massacre

The Periwinkle Massacre is a 6 piece, 8-string, metal band deep down in the dirty south from Corpus Christi, Tx. TPM has a wide selection of styles all combined into one blender. Can go from being really heavy/brutal, to being melodic/soothing, then delivering some intense guitar solos! For the past year The Periwinkle Massacre has been playing shows non-stop every month. The winks deliver a strong passion, on and off stage, for their music as well as for anyone who is listening and watching. Last year The Periwinkle Massacre entered a contest to open for Killswitch Engage where 90 bands from all over Texas entered. TPM made it to the final 4 where they had to battle it out. The Winks won out of 90 bands and opened up for Killswitch Engage & The Devil Wears Prada. Since that time they began to hit to studio writting/recording new music and continued to do shows and benefits all over Texas opening up for bands such as Within The Ruins, Born of Osiris, Horse The Band, Carnifex, Arsonist get all the girls, and other amazing bands. The following since has grown tremendously as they continue to travel out of town. The Periwinkle Massacre is showing no signs of slowing down.
