Chocolate Love Factory

Chocolate Love Factory, an Irish four-piece formed in 2009 by drummer John Quinn & vocalist/guitarist Rory Dee - with buttery biscuit bassist Luke Burns & guitarist Jazz joining their ranks in the summer of 2013. The band base themselves in Belfast. Their influences include Queens of the Stone Age, The Mars Volta, Tame Impala, Kyuss, Battles, Nirvana, St. Vincent, Eagles Of Death Metal & Daft Punk to list just a few. Playing an energetic set full of frantic riffs and powerful vocals, Alternative Ulster magazine affirmed "the force and intensity of this band is a genuine sight to behold". With previous releases including Rat Bag (which Live4Ever.uk.com described as: "Queens of the Stone Age on coke"); Coral Lady (which Irish News called "a thick creamy slice of prog grunge with a crumbly desert rock crust"); and recent EP Octavia (which AU Mag thought announced CLF as "one of this small country’s best in riff-fuelled rock"). Latest single Motivator received praise from Dublin blogger Stephen David O Connor - Born Again Nihilist, who wrote: "It's a rare thing these days to find a band who rock this hard and still find time to write a hook that gets stuck in your cranium for days, and days".
