Shanda & The Howlers

Shanda & The Howlers are a rhythm & blues revivalist band out of Las Vegas NV. The group of musicians solidified their line up in early 2015 and began writing songs immediately before performing their first show in the spring of 2015.
Influences in their sound can be traced to such artists as Big Maybelle, Ruth Brown, Otis Redding, The Crystals, The Marvelettes, Gino Parks, LaVern Baker, and James Brown.
In the bands short history, they have played on bills with such legendary acts as The Blasters and Wanda Jackson. They performed at The Rhythm Collision festival in Riverside CA, the lineup including James Intveld, The Excellos, The Shadowmen, and The Legends of Surf Guitar. Shanda & The Howlers are also booked to play at the massive Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly festival in April 2017. Presently, Shanda & The Howlers are preparing to go into the studio to record their full length debut and look forward to taking their show on the road once the album is released!
