Green Collar

Green Collar began in early 2010, and proudly consider themselves representatives and contributors of the vibrant Detroit Music Scene. Their meld of rock, folk, reggae, and soul blends nicely to create what they call Detroit Jam. Though they have endured several lineup and instrument changes, Green Collar currently stands strong as a 2 piece acoustic line-up consisting of founding members Kyle McKinley and Craig Surbrook. They take great pride in the fact that their music has a message for the listener. Whether it's a message of peace, love, revolution, or social commentary, the song's passion remains as true throughout every show as it did when it was first written. Green Collar strives to be on stage often to keep their fans happy and involved while reaching out to new fans as well. The goal is to keep moving. Whether it's your heartbeat or your feet, Green Collar wants you to feel the groove. The sky's the limit for these guys, and they want you to come along for the ride.
