About Jose Alfredo
José Alfredo was born with music in his veins and art in his soul. From a young age, he knew his destiny was on stage. A singer, songwriter, and storyteller, he has built a career marked by authenticity, evolution, and a deep connection with his audience.
In 2011, he burst onto the scene with Valiente, his debut album, which landed him on the Billboard charts with hits like ¿Cómo Estás? and Mírame Bien. Since then, he has explored new sounds and pushed the boundaries of Latin pop. With Hay Otros Mundos Pero Están en Mi Cabeza (2014), T.R.E.S. (2018), and Hierba Mala (2020), his music has transcended borders, with standout tracks like Bumbeo becoming an anthem in the fitness world thanks to Zumba.
In 2023, he released En Mis Manos, a project that reaffirmed his versatility and ability to reinvent himself. José Alfredo is not only a performer—he’s also an advocate. His commitment to social causes has made him a voice for issues such as pediatric cancer, gender-based violence, and eating disorders.
Throughout his career, he has collaborated with artists like Cristian Castro, Martín Ricca, Ana Isabelle, Natalia Lugo, Marileyda, and Valeria Cid, solidifying his place as one of the most notable voices in contemporary Latin music.
In May 2025, he will unveil Mercurio Retrógrado, his sixth and most personal album to date, exploring the stages of grief. With the release of singles Por Mi Camino and Viernes de Tradición, he has already begun revealing this new chapter—one of vulnerability and emotional depth that promises to be a turning point in his career.
