Rhyme Progression

“I don’t wanna be a rap star… I just wanna kick a cypher in the backyard” spits Denver based hip-hop artist, Rhyme Progression, over a jazzy boombap beat. Rhyme Pro is best known for his catchy conscious lyrics and self-made instrumentals. Atmosphere, Murs and, on occasion, Pretty Lights are all artists that shine through as influences when listening to a Rhyme Pro tune. With a mix of introspective thoughts, comedic story telling, and even raw battle lyrics, any hip-hop head is sure to find a Rhyme Pro track that speaks to them. In the past Rhyme Pro has collaborated with artists such as Sapient(of Sandpeople) and Mac Lethal. As an independent artist, Rhyme Pro has released two CD’s and a series of EP’s which were featured in dozens of local and national blogs ranging from the Denver Westword to Kevin Nottingham and even College-of-Music. In 2012 Rhyme Pro embarked on his first national tour in support of the “Awoken EP” and toured again throughout the Western United States in October 2013. 2015 is looking to be a prosperous year for this young artist as he plans to release a new record and hit the road once more.
