Long Earth

Long Earth is a progressive rock band based in Glasgow. Ethereal female vocals, vintage synthesisers, soaring guitar solos and a powerful rhythm section combine, creating accessible melodic prog rock.

The Scots had three albums under their belt when they asked Maaike Siegerist, an award-winning Dutch singer-songwriter, to join them. An “excellent fit for the band’s naturally atmospheric, melodic style,” according to Prog magazine.

Long Earth has just released a new, fourth album, Towards the Sky, to rave reviews. “The band's blend of pop-rock choruses and superbly crafted prog works wonderfully well” (Prog magazine). “Truly captivating” (Clair & Obscur).

Long Earth has been wowing audiences in Scotland and beyond in 2026 with their “beautiful vocals and musicianship” at Cambridge Rock Festival. Audience members at the band’s packed album launch at The Glad Cafe in Glasgow called their set “absolutely superb” and “every bit as good live as it is in the studio.”
