We as a group came together from different parts of the US with many different tastes in music. We are combining all the different tastes & styles of music we enjoy into what I would call a musical stew.

Kent Moody - Keyboard/Vocals, Dyonne James Vocals, Shaun Johnson - Bass, Jimmy Porter - Guitars/Guitar Synth/Vocals, Chris Strong - Drums, Outside the line has transformed out of Digital Bluesthe name change came about because of the diversity of music we perform.While most American music is rooted in blues, we felt the name did not represent that diversity. As a group we all try to bring a little something individual to the table.It's not about any one member, it's what we all contribute that takes us outside the line. Combining Rock/R&B/Motown/Pop & blues and putting our own stamp on our sound is what we have the most fun doing.I think that is what's important.If we have fun so does the people who come to see us perform., DeAndra Johnson - Lead Vocals/percussion
