Superb. Someone tell Rod Smallwood about them to get them opening for Maiden.

As the venue was pretty small, the atmosphere was very lively and friendly, which meant I was able to get my patch signed by both Craig and Rhea (the latter of which I didn’t even know was in the band until the concert!) All of the songs from G**s for Hire were played, alongside a mysterious new single titled Beast In The Night and a couple of cool interludes (A brief excerpt from In The Hall of The Mountain King and Don’t Talk to Strangers!) Merch was solid, with signed lyric sheets, vinyls and tour shirts available at reasonable prices: The fact that the band themselves were there to sign practically anything you bought was a nice touch too! Overall, this concert was an unforgettable experience and, as my first concert EVER, I wouldn’t have had it any other way.

I was looking forward to seeing and hearing this band for a few months now but deliberately held off listening to their music until this London show. They certainly lived up to the excited hype I have read about in recent months. They are a classic British metal band but are unique too. When they burst out on to the small stage in The Black 🖤 to arrive at their positions to let Rip my initial thoughts brought me back to Cliff 'Em All VHS and Whiplash in Chicago 1983 ! Tailgunner raw intensity, head banging and youthfulness was impressive. Tailgunner has arrived! Although the vocalist not doing a Hetfield throwing a Kill 'Em All first press in to the crowd and be smashed. G**s For Hire LP was on sale next to the bar. How civilised society has become lol. Really good band and players. One girl and four guys know their onions and are going places. Looking forward to seeing them at bigger venues in the future. Good luck guys 🤘✌️👍🫵
