Ja’Ovvoni Garrison also known on stage as Grand Lyrical Audio, is a Cleveland, OH born and raised, family guy, community activist, skateboard advocate, entrepreneur, and part time mechanic. Currently working to gain the attention of the hip hop world, G.L.A lyrically embeds the realities of different perspectives when it comes to the living in a midwest City like Cleveland,OH. With a spiritual mesh of literary and poetic technique G.L.A wants to continue the tradition of hip hop by exposing the reality of the distressed and corrupt. Much of his influence stems from the actual everyday situations he experiences along with some of the original conscious pioneers like KRS ONE, RAKIM, PUBLIC ENEMY, and ATCQ. With every piece written G.L.A aims to innovate and propel the skill of being a legitimate MC. Proving how powerful words can be to impact how we think, speak, and live.
