Von Bora is an indie rock-pop duo comprised of siblings Karina Vargas and Jesse Valens. Born in Mexico but with roots in the Los Angeles area, they blend modern sounds with stories of love and heartbreak.
Karina represents the duo publicly, contributing lyrics and musical structure, while Jesse takes on the role of producer and composer, shaping the duo's musical identity, taking cues from artists such as The War on Drugs, Siddhartha, and CLUBZ.
Von Bora's music feels like living in a border town—two distinct worlds sharing one heart. Their 2018 single Mi Pobre Corazon was featured on the telenovela Al Otro Lado del Muro on Telemundo, among other programs. Five more singles are planned for release in 2025/2026.
