Extraordinary pianist and vocalist Oleg Akkuratov is a unique musician versatile both in jazz and classical music. Millions of people worldwide enjoyed Oleg Akkuratov's exceptional mastery in 2014 - his performance became the highlight of the Closing Ceremony of the Paralympic Games in Sochi. In 2018 Oleg became the winner of the second prize of Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition and took part in Global Star Concert of International Jazz Day broadcasted worldwide.
At the age of six, Oleg entered the Moscow jazz college and started studying with a famous jazz pianist Mikhail Okun. In 2014 Oleg graduated from the Rostov State Conservatory. At the age of nineteen, Oleg Akkuratov became the winner of the International Piano Competition in Novosibirsk. In 2009 Oleg was awarded a special prize at the First All-Russian Academic Music Contest.
Oleg started his collaboration with Russian jazz master Igor Butman in 2013 and since then he set on the road with Igor Butman Quintet and Moscow Jazz Orchestra. During the past few years, he performed with his trio and Igor Butman's Moscow Jazz Orchestra and Quintet at the biggest jazz festivals and venues all over the world. Adding to it, Oleg performed with Montserrat Caballe, Evelyn Glennie, Kurt Elling, Wynton Marsalis, Jose Feliciano, and many others.
