About Interstate 74
When Arnd and Tim's rock group disbanded in 2011, they found themselves with some sort of rehab craving for live performing. Luckily Roel had this idea about covering some old time rock-n-roll tunes since he had required an upright bass early 2011... Since singer Arnd had such a deep voice they ended up covering the great Johnny Cash. It was then that they found drummer Frank to join them with some train beats. After roughly 5 years filled with gigs in all kinds of places, it became obvious these guys wanted something more than just covering the Legend that is Johnny Cash. They started toying with some creations of their own.
Interstate 74 was born.
After some intense writing on their first album "Brookstreet Pub" they proudly released it on march the 5th 2016. There wasn't much Johnny Cash left in their hard road-rock but some say there is still some influence to be found... Boldly they printed 1000 CD's completely on their own expense and nearly sold them all within the year. Shortly after the release in Genk they uploaded the album to the multitudes of online music stores where initial streaming was above average!
The guys from interstate 74 foresee to finish writing their second album in the first months of 2018 so the new songs can be released to all music-lovers at the summer festivals ...
