Dukes of Paris

This is not a bunch of guys nostalgic of the time when dukes were more powerful than the Kingdom of France. This is a duet delivering a striking sound, made of efficient riffs and tight rhythms. It all started in Paris in 2012 when Bertrand (voice & guitar) and Brice (drums & machines), ex-explorers of the experimental band Clownage, decided to mix their sounds and creativity. The result: a clever electro-rock fusion with a cross-Channel flavor (“Bargemon” is no longer a city from the south of France but a Manchester district, and “Boys” sounds just fitted for the London Koko). The Dukes of Paris are certified authentic. They have toured a number of venues (Festival Gliss n’rock in Barcarès, the Réservoir and the Bus Palladium in Paris, the Off of the Printemps de Bourges…) to assure their titles before recording their first EP, to be released in January 2014.
