Alleyways

We're a Punk Rock Band from Milano, Italy, formed in 2010. The band consists of our lead vocalist and (amazing!) guitarist Sebastiano Bianca AKA Wez, the other handsome lead vocalist and bass player Daniele Magistrelli AKA Panda, our guitarist Luca Storari AKA Petey (no adjectives for me, as I didnt wanna sound presumptious) and our incredibly skilled she-drummer, Federica Piscopo AKA Fedy. In the beginning we were actually 5, the same formation i just told you about plus a singer, Stefano, and we played in Clubs/Pubs in Milan and surroundings as a Punkrock cover band (mainly american/californian music) of bands such as American Hi Fi, Fall Out Boy, Blink 182, Vanilla Sky, Good Charlotte, Simple Plan, Yellowcard, Panic at the Disco and more. Then, suddenly, we started to have one or two songs of our own coming out of our rehearsals, so we started to play them live since the very beginning of our experience, let's say around September 2010. In 2012, around january we decided to continue our journey without Stefano and that's when the Alleyways finally got their definitive formation: 2 voices, a whole lot different voices btw, singing either together in the same song, or sharing some parts of 'em (it happens that one sings the Verse and the other takes on in the Chorus) or even singing a whole song alone (it happens to both of them). The idea was much like the sound of Blink 182: with two GOOD singers we can definitely play different kinds of songs, being able to have different tones and voices. Besides that, I think it's pretty damn cool. Anyhow soon we ended up playing almost only our own songs, and that's when we even had the chance to play, in a Beer Festival in Santo Stefano Ticino (MI) right before a gig of the world-famous italian band Vanilla Sky (great punkrockers and easy guys, just so you know..check em out!), where we actually had our first bite of what this could bring to. Later on that year, around November we let our first EP Album come out, containing our first 5 songs (The Begin - Save Me - Old Fox Night - Last Days of September - Looking Back). We're currently recording our first Studio Album that will be ready within the end of 2013. Just like many other bands, we're paying our own Album bills by selling our Eps plus using the money we earn thanks to the shows we do. So far we had something like 30/40 shows, but it could be more than that since my memory is not my very first virtue. For your info we are now out on the best digital stores with our EP. Obviously we just keep on writing songs ONLY for the fun of it, hoping to let you guys too have fun listening to our music. To us there's nothing more important than knowing that you use our songs as soundtrack of your life, vacations, anything. Now I know i've been a bit lenghty, and I'm quite sure nobody but our closest friends will have arrived to this part, so it doesn't really matter to tell you more about us or about anything at all: just follow us, listen to us, critizise us, do whatever you feel like doing! We will just go on caring about doing GOOD FUCKIN MUSIC (or at least we'll try to get as close as possible to it). Now go do something else. If I were you I would sit on my bed and play guitar. Oh, and don't forget: Stay WHO you are :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ITALIANO La band nasce a metà Dicembre 2010 da un'idea di LUCA che cercava componenti per suonare buona musica e divertirtsi insieme, incontra DANY che si interessa al progetto proponendogli oltre a lui anche il suo amico WEZ,anche loro alla ricerca di musicisti... Dopo qualche prova di "assestamento" notarono che in loro poteva nascere qualcosa di interessante e partirono subito alla ricerca di un batterista... Dopo vari provini ecco che si propose FEDY che, dimostrandosi grintosa e precisa, convinse a pieno gli altri della band! Mancava solo il quinto elemento: la voce...!! tramite Dany,si presentò alle prove STE munito di stampelle ma pronto a farsi sentire, l'intera band approvò a pieno il suo arruolamento e si cominciò a spingere su un genere racchiuso principalmente nel grosso ramo Punk-Rock !!!!! Nel Gennaio 2011 la line-up è completata ed arrivano gli ALLEYWAYS !!! (nome scelto visti i "sentieri" diversi da cui proviene ogni singolo musicista) Nel Febbraio 2012 Ste finisce la collaborazione con gli AlleyWays per impegni personali. I primi giorni di Marzo 2012 la band comunica che gli AlleyWays scelgono di continuare il loro progetto in 4,quindi Fedy-Luca-Wez e Dany,questi ultimi come voci principali.... A metà Matzo 2012 gli AlleyWays aprono ad una grande band: i RAD1 e a fine Maggio vengono chiamati a suonare prima dei VANILLA SKY. Nel 2013 qualche live mentre la band comincia a lavorare al nuovo album. Nei primi mesi del 2014 gli AlleyWays si chiudono in studio per registrare il primo album,in uscita il 28 Settembre 2014,anticipato con un singolo a Maggio 2014 "Times Change People Don't" e il 18 Settembre con il secondo singolo "Lost in a Dream"....
