Will Wood

Fantastic!!! Will Wood put on a great show, Shayfer James has a new fan, and the Stone Church is beautiful! I knew Will was talented - outstanding voice, music, and songwriting - but I wasn't expecting him to be so funny! I didn't think it was possible, but I love, admire, and appreciate him even more than before.

venue was compact but the thater was large, but the show was really cool! Will and Chris were on their A-game and hosted a splendid show and qna. meet and greet was very good as well

Will Wood events are always fantastic! This event was a screening of a “Documentary” made by Will and his friend Chris. They were both great and full of energy! I’d recommend a Will Wood event to anyone!

Loved the movie! Everyone was incredibly kind and enthusiastic. The staff was very helpful, and Will and Chris were so fun to meet. The venue was really nice, it felt personable and friendly. I hope I can see another live show in the future if possible. It was an amazing experience and I’m so glad I had the opportunity to attend!

The entire thing, it was just so amazing, honestly awesome to see Will Wood live, The Vermont was honestly very pretty, a lot of space even if there were many attending, but in general it was very enjoyable, Will is honestly funny as hell, his music is awesome, he seems generally kind and funny

Saw him in a small coffee shop venue, it was an acoustic show with only the keyboard and ukelele as opposed to the previous big band shows. Maybe the venue could have been chosen better but I loved seeing him and he was very kind after the show. He walked into the audience and sang to us. The crowd for some reason wasn't really receptive which was sad but I don't think it was the type of place where they could be and no fault of the artist. Got a shirt though and I still wear it all the time!

Incredible live show. Delivered a truly unique experience including new arrangements of songs (some even on different instruments) and songs that have never been published or recorded before. Will's ability to both antagonize and appeal to a crowd was also in full force. I wish him well on his hiatus and hope I'll get another chance to enjoy his work. I came for a multimedia extravaganza and left satisfied by a guy on stage with two ukes and a piano.

absolutely phenomenal. the peak first concert experience imo. i will be going to many more when he gets off his hiatus, the opening acts were talented and entertaining, and will wood himself was hilarious. a truly unique experience.

Absolutely OUTSTANDING show. The venue was comfortable (thank God for a.c. in humid LA heat) and the musicians were amazing. Of course I came to the show for Will Wood, but Shayfer and Pless had great energy that was a joy to experience in person. I had no idea Pless was the musician who made Ashtray which I had on repeat constantly just a couple years ago and still listen to regularly! Very exciting and pleasant surprise. I'd been listening to Will since early 2019 and I can't understate how wonderful it was to finally get to see him play in person. Idk if you'll ever see this dude, but thank you so much for playing the west coast. You fulfilled a great wish of mine. I had a great time.

This is a concert I loved not only because of the laid-back acoustic nature of it, but also because of the level of personality Will exuded. I say it’s worth going even just for him alone (though the crowd will sometimes ruin it with heckling). Overall great show! The music played was a lot more personable it seems, and it definitely made me happy to see a change in pace from the eccentric nature of Wills old shows.

Amazing venue and amazing choices to have Matt Pless and Shayfer James to open. All 3 performers interacted wonderfully with the audiences and really made it a night to remember. And Will Wood especially, the show was everything I had hoped for and more

I laughed at times, I cried at times. I was left so emotionally vulnerable after Will’s Performance that still, 24 hours later, I haven’t even remotely begun to recover from the sheer rollercoaster of this night. Endless Mike, Matt Pless, and Shayfer James also KILLED IT! Lots of good folk and blues and klezmer music! 9/10 would recommend to a friend and/or colleague.

Amazing!! I had a blast and will was so funny and just awesome! I would definitely go back in time just to experience it all over again. It was such a nice crowd and everyone that was on stage during the event was so talented and awesome.

on willy woody’s part, absolute 10/10, amazing performance and attitude and crowd interaction. speaking of, on the crowd’s part, probably a 7.5-8/10—between a fan trying to give him a dead preserved rat and some misc drunks almost getting out of hand toward the end of the show, those were thankfully the only significant offenders i assessed during the night. Overall tho, an amazing night with extremely talented openers on top of william woodly’s show!

an incredibly great time- goddamn that new album is going to be so beautiful, i can tell already. meeting him was great, the opening acts were amazing, and will was incredible live- the force given off of his live performance was just as powerful as his studio recordings. we were taught a valuable lesson about how social media is evil and how people are bad. hopefully will returns to the yeehaw state soon <3

Amazing concert at intimate venue with two great opening acts. I’m a mom of a 17 year old member of LGBTQ who has found Will’s music to be supportive and encouraging. I was pleased to see so many others like my child at the concert and to hear Will talk about inclusion and his own identity and self journey. Thank you Will Wood for being someone these kids can relate to. Music speaks when words fail and you are speaking to so many!

Broken glass was everywhere. My ears are still ringing. Got to pet a dog. Cake was consistently referenced. I still have confetti coming out of my pant legs, and I'm not even wearing the same pants anymore. Should I see a doctor? 10/10.

So much fun! I saw a very close friend who I hadn't seen since August, I asked out a girl I've been meaning to ask out for months, and I danced with this same girl.
