Fucking incredible. I laughed and cried and head-banged so much that my neck was sore the day later. The Tapeworms absolutely rocked, they're all such incredible musicians. This concert made me want to pick up my instrument again, more than ever, and learn to play the way they all did. Will's monologue to "That One Guy" in the audience had me in tears. It recontextualized Skeleton Appreciation Day for me. I really felt spoken to. Not to be dramatic, but it really cut deep to something within my psyche. Ending on Cicada days had me trying not to audibly sob too much. Then, bringing all the energy back in the encore was an incredible send-off to the show. I had an incredible time, and I can't wait for the show in OKC in a couple of months :) What an incredible bunch of musicians and performers.

Legitimately the best show I have ever seen. I have never seen someone play piano the way Will Wood does, and the energy of the entire band was electric. The room was very, VERY hot but the show was high energy all the way through, and Will Wood and the Tapeworms didn't flag or lose steam for even a second. The entire set was fantastic and the crowd had really good energy. Will Wood's stage presence is INSANE and I was in awe that the entire band was able to perform like that in such a stuffy room for so long. I'm looking forward to their next show in Boston, I'll definitely be there!!

The venue was great! It seemed like there was AC which was really nice for the summer. The show itself was amazing, no sound or lighting issues and musically everyone sounded fantastic! My only complaint would be the organization of the merch line after the show was over. There were a lot of people just cutting and the line was kinda chaotic. Overall 9/10 and I would love to see Will Wood and the Tapeworms again.

About Will Wood
In the ten years since the release of his debut album, indie singer-songwriter Will Wood has played the roles of drug-addled shock jockey, cryptic art-rock recluse, self-deprecating chamber-pop balladeer, and storytelling alt-comic with paradoxically equal parts authenticity and theatricality. While it may have served Wood well to fall in line with the demands many artists face when confronted with an unexpected viral moment, the cult singer-songwriter has remained defiantly himself. In the theater, Wood’s emotive storytelling and standup intertwines with his widely varying style of music in a way that refuses to conform to either tradition, and when with his band, his raucous “Tapeworms” concerts are equally unconventional. Will Wood is a pescatarian, collects stuffed rats, and lives in New Jersey with his girlfriend and a dozen or so rescued stray cats.
