Peps Persson, or Per-Åke Tommy Persson (born the 20th of December 1946 in Tjörnarp, Scania, in the south of Sweden), is a singer, guitarist, harmonicist and text writer.
Peps's sound is very personal, thanks to his Scanian dialect and special voice. Peps have impressed black blues musicians from Chicago, something which should be seen as most unusual.
In 1973 he renamed his band Peps Bluesband to Peps Bloodsband, when the style got more and more reggae inspired. He have made Swedish versions of Bob Marleys Small Axe, Stir it up, and Talking Blues.
