The Mellwood Tavern

First time at the Mellwood Tavern...shame on me! The weather was great, lots of people, lots of kids! Fat Box was tremendous! After seeing them so many times, it would be natural to get a bit jaded...but not with these guys. Tight, energetic, and fun! Then to top it off, they bust out some Black Sabbath (really? WTH!) with Fairies Wear Boots...and crushed it! That's something for a funky, bluesy, jazzy, fusiony type if band! Then The Pranksters...I haven't seen them in so long, but it just seemed like old friends coming over to visit! Pleasant yet elegant, comforting with a little kick. It was great night to visit with old friends and the new!

Really enjoyed seeing Fat Box in a larger venue. The sound was great and folks were dancing. Everyone seemed to have a good time! I look forward to seeing Fat Box (and other bands) at this place again!
