Björn and the Sun

David and Amanda, collaborators and lovers, embarked on a cross country adventure to Nashville from Los Angeles last November. The plan was to slow down a bit, adapt to the new southern lifestyle, get inspired by new genres of music, and write! Happy to say, they just finished their record last week at the Bomb Shelter with Andrija Tokic (Alabama Shakes, Hurray for the Riff Raff) and will plan to release in next few months. The new sound has fused together their California 60s inspired roots with a southern, gospel soul. Amanda Bjorn and David Donaldson are Bjorn and The Sun, a Los Angeles/ Nashville based bluesy soul pop duo.
