Marching Church have proved once again that they are a force to be reckoned with (even though they would argue that they don't have anything to prove and don't give two shits about what people think). They left us wanting more, after a frustratingly short set, but I'll mark that as a good thing. The Joanne Robertson gig before them was disappointing though, which is why I didn't give 5stars : sound engineer didn't do things properly and it stressed the performer out to the point where she didn't play the game anymore. Music was repetitive and lacked a bass, and it was very awkward to watch despite her beautiful voice. But about Marching Church: their set was a massive cold slap in the face, which is why I'm dying to see them again.
