About Trang Fødsel
Trang Fødsel is a Norwegian group who enjoyed mainstream success in the late 90s. The band started out as a duo in Bergen in 1992, and after increasing the lineup by three members they released their first album, "Bare Barnet", in 1995.
The 1997 release "Hybel" earned the band a nomination for Best Song ("Kursiv") during the Norwegian Grammy Awards. The song was a huge hit on Norwegian radio.
The band's latest album, "Hammock", was released in 2007, 8 years after the previous album, "Damp". None of these achieved the success of their earlier efforts, although the 2005 single "Fredag" did receive much airplay on Norwegian radio.
