About The Cameron Drive Project

Dave Schillereff – Vocals / Guitars: Dave comes from a large family of musically influenced brothers & sisters. Raised in North Carolina, he grew up around a wide variety of musical styles ranging from bluegrass & folk/acoustic, to hard edged rock & roll from all the classic bands. He first learned and played trumpet in school bands, while having picked up guitar & piano from his siblings, family entertainment, and playing for fun. During his twenties, he built his non-music career and also enjoyed NH local & lakes region entertainment playing guitar and singing with his Rock & Roll cover band, Some Assembly Required. Now back into the music scene since 2012, Dave has met & played with many great area musicians & now friends. In 2014 The Cameron Drive Project formed. It started from scratch from an idea & has proven to be a great recipe for a classic rock & roll band with a twist, founded on a common bond of friends, fun, & great rock & roll.

Dale Foster – Guitars / Sound: Dale started playing guitar inspired by his father's love of music, and then came the Beatles. He started on 4 strings but soon switched to 6 strings. It wasn't until he was 19 that he truly dug in, listening to blues, rock, & jazz. Dale enjoyed jamming with 2 brothers for a while, and then formed his first cover band, Cruzin'. From that point, Dale found his wife, Vicki, had a wonderful voice and left Cruzin' for the two of them to find their musical path together. He played in several local cover bands and for a short time gave guitar lessons at Michael Charles Music, run by his good friend, Chuck Dunn. He found that he loved teaching kids/teens and one day may go back to that love. For Dale, CDP is a project started with the idea of having fun and playing music for the love and not the $$$, & CDP is making some great Rock & Roll.

Vicki Foster – Vocals / Percussion: Vicki started singing at the age of 18 inspired by her husband Dale. Vicki has played in a few long term Cover Bands in the Tri City area. Lord Snooty was her first band and from then on she was hooked. Loose Cannon which was one of her all-time favorites, they played together for about 2 years. Ron Jones Band for 9 years was a long tenure which was very enjoyable, doing original music by Ron and covers. The last project she was in was Velvet SkyZ, a 4 piece hoot! Now as part of "The CDP" family, she's dialed in and bringing some great music back out to the people!

Eric Poff – Keyboards / Vocals: Inspired by Chet Atkins, Eric begged his mother for guitar lessons when he was 12. After 3 years he was begging for piano lessons and his passion was Mozart, Schumann and Chopin. Fast forward several years and Eric had the good fortune to study jazz theory with Nate Wilson (the Nate Wilson Group, Ghosts of Jupiter) and that brief but rewarding experience changed his entire outlook and approach to music performance. Over the years he has played music with a variety of garage bands, somehow picking up the bass along the way. He played bass and keys with the Remarkable Spud Cannons for over ten years and has performed with the Funky Divas of Gospel and Barrel O’ Monkeys. Listen closely and you may hear influences of Bill Evans and Herbie Hancock. And with those magic keys, maybe the occasional trumpet, fiddle, harmonica and who knows what? Eric is on board the CDP train, and he's making for a smooth ride.

Ron Cole – Drums: A riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma. Actually, just waiting for Ron to tell us who he is and where he came from! In the meantime, he's our newest addition to the wonderful group of friends and bandmates known as the CDP!

Thom Scagliotti – Bass Guitar / Vocals: Thom "Bottom Man" Scagliotti studied organ and actually played in Church during his grade school years, then started working in bands at the age of 13. Switching over to the electric bass guitar at 16...he's never looked back! Performing throughout the Northeast, the Great Lakes, Canada and the Caribbean with Country, Rock, Pop, Blues, Jazz and Folk groups over the years hasn't diminished his love for music and performing. His most recent bands include a 5 piece R&B Horn Group, a Blues,R&B, Jazz Duo and a Blues Trio. He's a current member of The Funky Divas of Gospel, The North River Group, and a seasoned veteran in THE CAMERON DRIVE PROJECT. Thom plays all styles of music and is a solid member of our rhythm section as well as being an accomplished studio musician and a first call sub for various performing units throughout the Seacoast area. Thom also is a veteran open mic "house band" member and can be seen hosting open mics on a regular basis. Harmony vocals and "solid groove" bass lines are his specialty!
