StormHammer

StormHammer is a power metal band from Munich, Germany, formed in 1993. They released their first albums, "Fireball" and "Cold Desert Moon," on Century Media Records, which led to European tours with Morgana Lefay, Steel Prophet, Angel Dust, and Blind Guardian. These albums highlighted the band's signature mix of strong guitar riffs, fast drumming, melodic keyboards, and powerful vocals.

Their third album, "Lord of Darkness," was followed by a tour with Grave Digger and Astral Doors. In 2009, they released "Signs of Revolution." After a lineup change, StormHammer released three albums on Massacre Records: "Echoes of a Lost Paradise" (2015), "Welcome to the End" (2017), and "Seven Seals" (2019). Each album explored various musical styles from progressive elements to thrash and more mainstream sounds.

In the early 2020s, the band faced challenges with lineup changes and founding members departing. With new talent joining Horst Tessmann, one of the original members, StormHammer went on a successful tour supporting Doro across Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands in 2022. The latest record, "Never Surrender - 30 Years of Power," was also released in 2022 on ROAR Records and features classic StormHammer songs re-recorded by the new lineup, offering the listeners a fresh perspective on the band’s sound.

Recently, StormHammer has been writing new material and will release their next album "Wrath of the Hammer" in summer 2026 under RPM ROAR (Reigning Phoenix Music).
