Paul Cauthen

Paul was back in true form and his band was nothing short of that. I highly recommend the vip experience. Jody was amazing too. Glad to see Big Velvet healthy and full of energy and as always his larger than life personality. Future is so bright Paul is always wearing shades! Meetings your favorite musicians can sometimes be disappointing, not the case here. Paul exceeded my expectations. Thank you! Ben Chapman was damn good too! His cover of Waymore’s blues was fantastic!

I really enjoyed it. He's definitely here to party when he performs. Loves moving around on stage. Makes everyone feel welcome. Love his silly facial expressions. His show was very good. I showed up because it's Alaska and how often do we get good quality acts? I walked out of the concert as a new Paul Cauthen fan. His studio music is alright but his live show totally tore the roof off the house. Not often enough that musicians and artists are like that.

Paul Cuthen is a must see once so you can understand why you will want to see him again and again. He is a true Texas music legend and continues to elevate his music with every album.

Good music and venue. Would have given 5 star but he was around an hour late partying with his buddies in the back.

The Big Velvet did it again! Putting on a great show and got the crowd excited. The dedication to the mother f’ing Texas Rangers was incredible.

Tanner Usrey was a pretty opener! Of course Paul Cauthen and company rocked the house. A little disappointed I went in with my small camera and The Metro said there were no media passes for the night…I’m not media…and your website clearly states small cameras. Oh well.

Great outdoor venue! The overnight parking is super convenient. Paul was absolutely fantastic! The sound was great! The only thing that we wish was better was the domestic beer selection, they only offered PBR and white claw and the rest was local brews, but of course we made it work and had a great time! We will definitely go back to PCL!

Awesome show! Love this guy. My hubby introduced Paul’s music to me and he is just wonderful! Great show up close and very personal, this is the kind of place i want to see a show at!

I’d definitely go see him again! He was infectious with his good time,. He has such a soulful voice and spirit , and not to mention some dance moves like Elvis! Venue was great! We have seen over 100 music artists, and Paul Cauthen is one of the best I’ve ever seen and heard. Look forward to new albums and future shows.

Another outstanding show by Paul , Great singer , Superb rapport with his audience. High Energy and that awesome East Texas voice a show for anyone who just enjoys what a live music show should be.

Such a killer show! Big Velvet’s performance was like watching Waylon Jennings, John Belushi & “Country D**k” Montana beat the c**p out of Kid Rock for 90 minutes. Cauthen’s band was stellar. Especially, the lead guitarist and keyboard players. Pure bliss!

Looked forward to this since someone in his camp tipped me off that they'd be announcing a December return to CMH, and the show was every bit as lit as I'd hoped it would be. Really good touring band, too.

I was one of the (probably few) people who came out specifically to hear Cauthen's opening set. People were turning to me and going "Who is this guy? He's ****ing amazing!" He lets his songs and his guitar do the talking, and it's impossible not to be roped in.

I go to around 100 or more shows a year, and I can honestly say this one was something special. I didn't even know who Paul Cauthen was on Tuesday.. my GF saw people talking about him on a Sturgill Simpson fan page and played a couple of his songs on Wednesday. My immediate thought was, I have to see this guy live! Looked up his tour and saw he was playing here in two days. The music was incredible, the energy from Paul and the band was insane! If I had to describe the show in one word: Powerful. The next day I was still buzzing from the show. I must have told half a dozen people about it. I called my friend who also attended and we agreed it was like seeing someone before they get blow up. Go see this guy!! Fan for life!

I went for Dylan Leblanc (main act) but so glad I was well in time for Mr. Cauthen and his brilliant band. Discovery of the season, right up my street: laying fat grooves under humorous hymnlike songs, selfdeprecating laments in a deep velvetty voice and then his endearing little dance moves. The big man can move! Blimey, long time since a gig had me waxing on so lyrically. Boys must be doing something good. Keep it up. Keep coming to Belgium. I'm arranging the fanbase as we speak. Brilliant gig!
